Client: Affymetrix Genechip
Project: Clean Room Conversions (Santa Clara)
Site upgrades included transforming existing clean room space from class 10,000 to class 1,000 specifications. In addition, RC Benson & Sons constructed a new laboratory. A newly constructed, adjoining two-level service yard-housing genetic research instruments for measuring complex disease genetic information-supplemented project additions. Further project activities included the following:
* Upgrading the DI water system
* Expanding existing clean room pods
Project scope included approximately 4,690 sq. ft.
