Project: Building K Renovations (Menlo Park)
A particulate arresting hepafilter and new HVAC systems installed in the following laboratory spaces: tissue culture; biology; and chemistry. RC Benson & Sons also constructed a new, approximated 10,000 square foot current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) clean room-rated at 12% humidity.
Independent equipment installations included the following: emergency generator (1 MEG); chemical storage building (250 square foot). An ancillary, two-story mezzanine equipment yard also erected. In addition, a newly constructed two-story glass lobby exhibits the following aesthetic features: open-curved stairway; curved glass exterior; and two-story atrium.
Note: an abbreviated building lease term circumstance resulted in partially completed interior upgrades
